Nanocrystalline Transformer Cores For Residual Current Device:
Residual current transformer is the detection element of Residual Current Device(RCD), its main function is to detect the residual current ( electric shock, leakage and other ground fault current) through the main circuit of the transformer core, and convert the residual current of the primary circuit into the output voltage of the secondary circuit. Residual current transformer is one of the most critical components of leakage protector, it can detect the residual current in the power system in time, and remove the fault circuit in time, so as to reduce the possibility of personal injury and equipment damage.
The Soft Magnetic Alloy of residual current transformer cores:
The iron core’s material of residual current transformer is generally nanocrystalline soft magnetic alloy with high permeability and low coercivity. Compared with permalloy materials, it has higher saturation magnetic flux density, lower coercivity, wider measuring current range, low loss, and better temperature stability
In the residual current transformer, the nanocrystalline cores is mainly used to improve the precision and stability of the transformer. Because the nanocrystalline core has high permeability, it is able to detect and measure the changes in current more accurately. In addition, the ultracrystalline structure of the nanocrystalline core also helps to improve the stability and reliability of the current transformer
